About Me

I'm a co-founder at Morphlabs, a venture-funded startup based in Manhattan Beach, CA building cutting edge Enterprise Private Cloud Computing software. I am also involved with Education Kindling, a non-stock, non-profit group that promotes technology tools and practices in public education. eKindling is currently involved in completing the first One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) XO-1.5 laptop pilot program in Lubang, Occidental Mindoro, Philippines.

Prior, I served as Vice President for the Philippine Linux Users Group (PLUG), and as a member of the Ubuntu Community Council, the community governance board that is responsible for supervising the social structures and community processes of the Ubuntu project, a very popular Linux distribution. I also served as Vice President for Infrastructure at DevCon Foundation, an organization that actively promotes software development and technology as a profession in the grassroots level by organizing events and activities in partnership with private companies in the Philippines.

I grew up in a small municipality in the Philippines called Santo Tomas, which is part of the Batangas province. I love to travel and collect souvenirs from every city I get to visit. I follow a lot of professional teams from different sports. Perhaps in the future, I can own a professional team (preferably an NBA team) if I get lucky.
